I was here for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant for lunch. Location: the hotel was very close to a river and scenic farmland -- and the big Zurich international airport beyond that, a nice town in the region of Zürich, and Bülach. I was surprised at nearby Gelateria Cafe Bar Noah's, they had some goodies, drinks...

The rooms were neat and functional and the bathrooms were clean. The hotel had a central location and it was right at Reformierte Kirche Bulach Church. The staff was very nice, friendly all the time.

Excellent restaurant, breakfast, friendly & helpful staff, room size & cleanliness

Cost was high, especially for a family dinner for a group of 5, over 300 CHF, for basically a minimal meal with 1 bottle of wine & no extras.

The beds here are really comfy and there's a mini-bar with all the TV channels you need. You can enjoy nice city views and the staff at reception are super friendly. This place is in a great spot, pretty close to the southern center. 🌆

I liked the look of the hotel and the town. Nice they dress in sort of costume to serve you.

The walk to the bus stop with a case is too far. The attic room I was given wasn't special but it was quiet. The cost of water is too great.

The location was superb in picturesque Bulach - very convenient to tour round Zurich, Lucerne & Northern Switzerland.

Some room facilities & Breakfast Menu need updating.

This place has a lovely charm with very friendly staff at the reception and a perfect location just a short walk to the town center.

The rooms at Hotel Restaurant Zum Goldenen Kopf in Bulach are immaculately clean and new-fashioned. They offer a safe, multi-channel television, and a mini bar fridge. the location of the hotel is marvelous, as it is only 4-6 minutes away by foot from Bulach city center.

Friendly staff, helpful with local tips. Late check out available. Good breakfast, buffet ordered in advance. Clean room, mini bar, large TV. Local restaurants within walking distance. a pleasant and convenient stay.

The rooms at Hotel Restaurant Zum Goldenen Kopf are like stepping into a time capsule. They are filled with charming relics from the past that add a unique touch to your stay. As a solo traveller, I was instantly transported to a different era and felt a sense of nostalgia throughout my room.

Personally, I found the seating area in the rooms to be a bit cramped. However, I understand that others may appreciate having a designated spot to relax after a long day.

A cozy countryside hotel with a lot of charm. the rooms were small but well equipped, and the breakfast was exceptional. the location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and the price was very reasonable. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the in, house restaurant had a great selection of dishes to choose from. the hotel was a perfect base for our Christmas getaway.

The sound insulation in the walls was not great, and the noise from neighboring rooms was a bit disturbing. the reception was not open 24 hours, making check, in and check, out a bit of a hassle.

The breakfast was decent and the parking facilities were convenient. The location was great - close to the shopping area and easy to get to other parts of the city.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a convenient desk space and a safe. Hotel breakfast could have been better with less noise. The church bell ringing for 5 minutes starting at 6 am was quite loud, which could be disruptive if you left your window open.

The staff not only provided us with printed information about nearby waterfalls and train schedules, but they also took the time to explain everything in detail. Their attentiveness truly enhanced our trip.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the absence of a tea/coffee kettle in the rooms and the occasional noise from the nearby church bells, these did not significantly affect our overall positive experience. The hotel's affordability and convenient location in a charming little town near Zurich made it an excellent choice for exploring the area without breaking the bank.
